General Academic Regulations and Procedures
A regulation is a rule, ordinance, or law by which conduct, etc. is regulated. Wherein, regulation by law is a rule issued by an administrative agency or a local governmental body prescribing conditions or authorizations that must be followed by the public or by public utilities; the process of controlling by restrictions or rules.
A procedure the act, method, or manner of proceeding in some action; esp., the sequence of steps to be followed, a particular course of action or way of doing something or the established way of carrying on the business of a legislature, law court, etc. A procedure by law is a specific course of action; the machinery by which a suit is carried on; the mechanics of the legal process; written rules for legal proceedings, whether criminal or civil, codified in rule books such as the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
