GNA Annual Family Day: Dance it up GNA!
Cultural experience abounded last September 6, 2008, during the 10th annual Family Day. It was held in the GNA compound in #5 Quisumbing Street, Trancoville. Dances from Luzon to Mindanao were performed by the GNA students. Folkdances of the Philippines, Pandanggo Sa Ilaw and Maglalatik, was performed by the high school students and Itikitik, Subli, and Singkil were performed by the elementary students. The program lasted until the afternoon. After a grand feast, games ensued. Both parents and children participated in games of sack races, apple eating contests.
GNA to conquer the 16th National Student Convention
21 Students from GNA will participate in the 16th National School Convention held in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. ??Our Foundation, Our Future? being the theme, out 21 students five joined for the creative composition, 15 for the music (instrument and voice), seven for the platform speech/drama, 19 for the athletics (12 boys for the basketball, and seven girls for the volleyball and track and field), three girls for the needle/thread (cross stitch, crochet, dress making, and formal attire), five students for photography (colored and black and white), three for arts (water color, sketching, and colored pencil), finally ten boys for the drill team, nine girls for flag corps, and five for color guard.
